TFM a bouquet of television channels

The Minister of Communication and Telecommunication, Moustapha Guirassy , and the CEO of Future mediate, Mamadou Diop, conducted Thursday at the signing of an agreement to mediate future on TV (TFM) to have a bouquet of television channels.

The signing of the agreement for public service concession to private television, was held at the office of the Minister of Communication and Telecommunication in the presence of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Future mediate, Youssou Ndour .

''The president, Abdoulaye Wade, in his vision, his approach can support the Media Futures Group, giving it already licensed for the TFM and beyond the cultural license, go further with the general license, and now allow this group to comfort himself with a bouquet that is an encouraging sign,''said Moustapha Guirassy, after the ceremony.

''A private sector support in general for job creation,''he said, noting that such an initiative between the''promotion of freedom general, and especially the freedom of the press in a particular world.''

Thanking the state authorities, primarily the head of state, Youssou Ndour said that the TFM acquires a bouquet does not mean to keep its programs Now viewers will''spend money''.

The bouquet will start in a few months after surveys and studies will be carried out to identify channels that meet public expectations. The price of housing will also be published at the end of this technical study, said the Managing Director of TFM Group, Mamadou Diop.
