Hundreds of engineers, contractors and developers are expected to Senegal to meet Google, which begins Monday in Dakar,

The G-Senegal will be held at the University Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD) of Dakar, on''Growth Local, Global Impact.'' It will consist according to a statement,''a training on the latest products and tools from Google to highlight the opportunities of the Internet in Senegal''and develop the online business.
The conference, billed as''a confirmation of Google's commitment to advance the web and highlight the many business opportunities offered by the Internet'' ,''will focus on the latest products and technologies for Google to develop the opportunities on the Internet.''
"These products include Android, technologies related to the development of mobile phones, Google Maps for business, optimizing a website and online advertising . Google's products to develop information industry and the media are also on the agenda of the conference, "the statement said.
"Participants will have the opportunity to explore and experiment with the latest products through Google Plenary presentations on technology and workshops in small groups.
Carlo D'Asaro Biondo Vice President of Operations for Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa will be a speaker of G-Senegal ", said the source.
