Once our selection Certificate was received at Canadian Embassy in Manila they sent to my spouse a copy of the letter sent by them to the ICAB for our child. This letter reveals that our child had to pass a review Medical performed by one physician designated by the Embassy within 2 months from the date of the letter.
When our organization was the medical report our child, our contact person phoned my husband at his work for him know. When we returned from work, my husband asked me to read the sheet that was lying around on the counter and when I started reading it, I immediately guessed it was the medical report. My partner told me he had received via email from our contact person and that we should leave the Philippines by few weeks. Fate had chosen the day to receive this good news, because I had my surprise shower in the evening. After reading the medical report, we should confirm our approval to our organization via email. Obviously, we responded in the affirmative, because our child was in perfect health.
When passport for our child and visa to enter Canada were issued by the embassy, our resource person phoned my husband at work, because I was not at home, to announce that we left for the Philippines on November 21. When I returned from my errands and saw the phone on our contact person had called without leaving a message, I immediately called my husband at work to see if we were leaving next week, because J 'I had read on a forum that the couple who had their medical report a few days before we left Friday the following week. My partner told me we would not leave with them, as our departure date was Friday in two weeks. Our contact sent us by email the route proposed by the travel agent suggested by our organization. In the e-mail there were guidelines to follow when booking air tickets and hotel and a scenario of meeting with the child. With this information, we decided to check rates with travel agencies in our region to get the best price for airline tickets.
